M a te r i a l s and M eth o d s : Th i s double-blind, p l a c e b o- c o n t r oll e d t ri al wa s d e si g n e d in 82 (69 mal e s and 13 f emal e s) o s t e o p o r otic p a tie n t s w i t h S C I f or 4 mo n t h s . All p a r ti c i p a n t s r e c eiv e d 1 000 mg c al c ium and 400 IU v i t amin D d ail y .
