عنوان فارسی حبل‌المتین و خیزش خزعل
چکیده فارسی مقاله جریده هفتگی حبل­المتین در نتیجه سال­ها کوشش و مجاهدت مستمر مدیر آن، سیدجلا­ل­الدین کاشانی ملقب به مؤید­الاسلام، سهم چشمگیری در روشن کردن اذهان عمومی داشت. با آغاز خیزش شیخ خزعل در مقابل دولت مرکزی ایران و سردار سپه و جانبداری دولت انگلستان از آن، حبل­المتین از موضع حفظ استقلال با دخالت دولت­های بیگانه در امور داخلی ایران، با شیخ خزعل مخالفت کرد. این روزنامه در شماره­های مختلف، به افشای نیات اصلی بانیان این خیزش، به خصوص اهداف و فعالیت‌های دولت انگلیس در پیدایش و فرجام آن پرداخت. در این مقاله با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه­ای و مطالب روزنامه حبل­المتین کوشش شده است با توجه به اهمیت و جایگاه خیزش خزعل در تاریخ معاصر ایران و نیز اهمیت این جریده، مواضع و دیدگاه‌های این روزنامه در قبال قیام سعادت و دخالت­های دولت انگلیس در این زمینه و فضای فکری مدیر آن نسبت به شخص رضاشاه بررسی شود. گرداننده حبل­المتین مانند بسیاری دیگر، رضاخان را تنها گزینه برای پایان دادن به وضعیت آشفته ایران در آن عهد می‌دید.

عنوان انگلیسی Hablolmatin and the Khaz’al Rebellion
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The weekly newspaperHablolmatin was the fruit of many years of hard work and constant endeavors of its director Seyyed Jalal din Kashani known as Mo'ayyed al-Islam, and played an integral part in raising public awareness. At the outset of Sheikh Khaz'al rebellion against the central government of Iran, and the person of Reza Khan, the uprising was supported by Britain. Hablolmatin took a tough stance in favor of Iran's independence and non-interference of foreign powers in Iran's sovereign matters, therefore, the weekly gazette was against Sheikh KHaz'al. The gazette revealed the hands behind this rebellion and exposed the intentions of its founders, specifically the goals pursued by Britain throughout the rebellion's inception and doom. Considering the importance of Khaz'al rebellion in Iran's contemporary history, the author has employed library sources and the texts of Hablolmatin to examine the viewpoints of this newspaper about the Sa'adat rebellion, Britain's interferences in this context and the intellectual atmosphere of Hablolmatin's editor regarding Reza Shah. Like many others, the director of Hablolmatin perceived Reza Shah as the only effective end to the chaotic situation of Iran at the time.
