عنوان فارسی استدلال بالینی و حل مسأله در طب سنّتی ایرانی
چکیده فارسی مقاله ساختار کلی استدلال در طب امروز (سه بخش جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، ساختن و ارزیابی فرضیه‌ها) با استدلال در طب سنّتی مشابه است، امّا طبیب سنّتی بر خلاف پزشک امروز، فقط در پی تشخیص بیماری بر اساس شکایت اصلی بیمار نیست، بلکه در پی فهم مزاج کلی بیمار هم هست. استدلال در طب سنّتی از جنس قیاسی است، به همین سبب در طب سنّتی، بیماری ایدیوپاتیک و بدون علّت مشخص وجود ندارد. در هر دو مکتب طبی، استدلال تدبیری و تشخیصی وجود دارد، با این تفاوت که در طب سنّتی با مشخص شدن تشخیص، تدبیر مشخص است، در حالی که در طب امروز استدلال تدبیری حتّی با مشخص بودن تشخیص، نیازمند پردازش بیشتر اطلاعات بیمار است. این مقاله در پی فهم استدلال در طب سنّتی است. به این منظور، شیوه استدلال بالینی در طب امروز با طب سنّتی مقایسه می‌شود.

عنوان انگلیسی Clinical Reasoning and Problem Solving in Traditional Iranian Medicine
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The general structure of reasoning (collection of information, development, and evaluation of the hypotheses) in modern medicine is similar to that in the Traditional Iranian Medicine (TIM). However, contrary to a physician in modern medicine, traditional physicians did not only try to diagnose the disease on the basis of patients’ chief complaints. Rather, traditional physicians attempted to determine the general temperament of the patient. Reasoning in the TIM is of the deductive type. Therefore, in the TIM, there is not any disease considered as idiopathic and without any specific etiology. In both modern and traditional medicine schools, there are therapeutic and diagnostic reasoning. However, in the TIM, treatment is defined as the diagnosis is determined. This is while in modern medicine, even when the physician achieves the diagnosis, treatment requires further processing of the patients’ information. This paper addresses reasoning in the TIM. To this end, modern medicine is compared with the TIM in methods of clinical reasoning.
