عنوان فارسی یبوست در مکتب طب سنّتی ایران
چکیده فارسی مقاله یبوست از شایع‌ترین شکایات گوارشی است. بیش از یک هفتم جمعیت بالغین جهان از یبوست مزمن شاکی هستند. عوامل متعددی زمینه‌ی ایجاد یا تشدید یبوست را فراهم می‌نمایند. در طب نوین معیارهای مشخص و نسبتاً دقیقی برای تعریف یبوست ذکر گردیده و بعضاً درمان‌هایی ارایه شده است. در طب سنّتی از یبوست با عناوینی مانند حصر hasr))، قبض شکم و اعتقال بطن نام برده شده است و نوع خاصی از یبوست که همراه با درد می‌باشد نیز قولنج نامیده شده است. به نظر می‌رسد بررسی تطبیقی فیزیوپاتولوژی و درمان‌های یبوست در طب نوین و طب سنّتی ایران و بهره‌مندی از آثار روش‌های مختلف درمانی در کنار یکدیگر بتواند به ارایه راهکار‌هایی با هزینه اثر بخشی بیشتر در درمان این بیماری بیانجامد. هدف از این مطالعه، بازخوانی دانش ذکر شده در طب سنّتی ایرانی درباره‌ی اختلال یبوست و بررسی امکان تطبیق تعاریف، علّت شناسی و تدبیر این بیماری در مکتب طب سنّتی با موارد متناظر خود در پزشکی امروزی است. برخی نظرات برگرفته از مبانی طب سنّتی چین نیز در مورد یبوست ذکر شده است.

عنوان انگلیسی Constipation in Traditional Iranian Medicine
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Constipation is a common gastrointestinal complaint. More than one seventh of the adult population throughout the world experience chronic constipation. Different factors cause establishment or aggravation of constipation. In conventional modern medicine, specific and reasonably accurate criteria have been proposed for definition of constipation, and also some treatments are used for the condition. In the Traditional Iranian Medicine (TIM), some terms such as hasr, ghabz-e shekam, and eteghal-e batn are used for constipation. Moreover, the type of constipation accompanied with pain is called qolanj. Comparative study of physiopathology and treatments of constipation in conventional medicine and TIM, and making use of different treatment approaches along with each other would lead to achievement of some approaches with higher cost-effectiveness. The aim of this study is to review the knowledge in the TIM about constipation and investigating the possibility of comparison of definitions, etiology, and treatments of the condition in the TIM with the corresponding items in modern medicine. Finally, some comparisons between these topics in the TIM and traditional Chinese medicine were provided.
