عنوان انگلیسی Assessment of Ambient Air Quality and Emissions of Environmental Pollutants of Cement Plant: A Case Study in Kermanshah
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background & Aims of the Study: Considering the high growth of the cement industry in the country and the potential for a large potential pollution of these industries on air sources, management of these industries will be important. The aim of this study was to determine the amount of air pollutants around Saman Gharb Cement Plant in Kermanshah, compare with standards and determine the air quality index Material & Methods: The descriptive-analytical study was carried out on 120 samples of chimneys from different parts of the production line and ambient air at the four sides of the factory (North West, North East, South East and South East). Air quality was measured using PM10, PM2.5, CO, CO2, NOx, SO2 and H2S. Finally, data analysis was done using SPSS software. Results: Based on the results, the highest concentration of CO (132 ppm), NO (453 ppm), NO2 (4.4 ppm), SO2 (9 ppm) and H2S (240 ppm) were observed in the preheater unit and in seasons of spring, winter, winter, winter and spring, respectively. The highest emission of suspended particles from the silo unit was at 70 mg/m3, which was lower than the standard. The average the suspended particles in ambient air was 68.6 μg/m3. The amount of exhaust gases was also much smaller than the standard. Conclusion: The results of this study show that the air pollution protection system has a good performance at all outputs under its control.
