چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Every human is spiritual. Spirituality is a subjective phenomenon and encompasses physical, psychological and social aspects of an individual.  Spirituality enables professionalism among individuals at workplace.  Novice nurses often find it difficult to adjust in the work place especially during the role transition phase and may find spiritual distress if they find their work meaningless and dissatisfying. The following paper aims to elaborate on the unique aspect of spiritual distress among novice nurses’ during their role transition phase and its impact on nurses’ retention, work productivity, and job satisfaction. Moreover, the paper will recommend strategies to promote spiritual wellbeing of nurses during the role transition phase.
