چکیده فارسی مقاله آینده، به موضوعی جدی برای مطالعه و پژوهش، بویژه از دهه آخر قرن بیستم به بعد، تبدیل شده است. در کنار مسائل متعددی که در آینده پژوهشی مورد بررسی قرار می گیرد، تربیت آینده، شهروند آینده و خصوصیات شهروند آینده، بسیار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. چه، تصور می شود، آینده را با هر رویکردی که بنگریم، توسط شهروندان رقم زده می شود. این مقاله به روشن سازی این مفاهیم پرداخته است. نظر به اینکه شهروند آینده، خصوصیات وی و نحوه پرورش آن از روندهای عمومی تری اثر می پذیرد. در بادی امر، آینده، روندهای آن، پیش فرض ها، اهداف، گرایش ها، تصویرپردازی های آینده، پیشرفت ها و مشکلات آینده و مجموعه اقدامات در برابر گزینه های آینده مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. سپس بستگی شهروندی و تربیت و مفهوم شهروندی توضیح داده شده است. به منظور احصاء دیدگاه های مختلف درباره شهروندی و خصوصیات شهروند آینده مجموعه پژوهش های انجام شده مدنظر قرار گرفته است. مجموعه بررسی ها نشان می دهد تربیت شهروند آینده از سه پدیده جهانی شدن، روندهای دموکراتیک و فناوری اطلاعات متأثر است، به همین لحاظ می توان گفت شهروند آینده باید حداقل دارای سه خصوصیت جهانی، دموکراتیک و فناوری باشد.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The subject of “Future” has changed in to a serious area for research and study¸ especially from the last decade of the 20th century up till now. Besides numerous issues which would be considered in the field of “future researches”, the topics of “future education”¸ “future citizen”, and “characteristics of the future citizen” are of great importance, because, with whatever approach we look at future¸ it would be formed by citizens. This article illustrates these concepts. Certain issues have been investigated with regard to the point that the future citizen, his characteristics, and his method of education are affected by more general processes. These include “future”¸ “its processes”¸ “preconditions”¸ “goals”¸ “tendencies”¸ “visualizations”¸ “advancements”¸ “problems” and “the whole responses to the future options”. Then the relationship between citizenship¸ education, and citizenship concept has been explained. Many previous researches in this area have been considered in order to investigate different attitudes about citizenship and characteristics of the future citizen. These investigations indicate that educating the future citizen is impacted by three phenomena; globalization¸ democratic processes and information technology (IT) Therefore it can be said that the future citizen should have at least three characteristics: global, democratic and sensitive to IT.
