چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Along with introducing the style of the poet, investigating the poems of the revolution poets leads to a better understanding of the current literary trend. This study is on imagery in “Forsat Nayab (The Rare Opportunity)”. Forsat Nayab is a collection of poems by Abdul Jabbar Kaka'ii. He started composing poems since the victory of the Islamic revolution, and became one of poets of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defense. Kaka'ii manifests his innovative look at elements and phenomena andalso in the realm of eloquence and rhetoric, and provokes ecstasy and delight in the audience by creating the poetic images. Varieties of metaphor, simile, eloquence and distinction are the most significant types of imagery used in "The Rare Opportunity". Kaka'ii’s intense and concise language is significant and evident in the field of imagination. Considerable frequency of the usage of metaphor and simile shows the application of compactness of imagery in his poems. Applying new metaphors and innovative combinations, manifested in the heart of imagery, and also considerable frequency of personification can be considered asthe outstanding features of imagery in Kaka'ii’s poems and literary accentuation.
