چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Although Seyyed Qotb – a romantic poet and one of the most prominent contemporary Egyptian literary figures – is recognized as a religious figure due to his works and writings in the area of Islam and Quran;he is the author of invaluable literary works and poems. His poetry is adorned with human emotions and melody of resistance that has invited the Egyptians to stand in front of any cruelty and injustice. He also emphasized the issue ofPalestineand recognized jihad and martyrdom as the only guarantee to gain the independence of that country. The outstanding feature of his poetry is the manifestation and illustration of spiritual and religious values. In his view, the best advantage that a committed man can get in this life is whether martyrdom for god, or reaching the summits of victory. He sacrificed himself by insisting on his grand aspiration. This paper will analyze and study the themes of resistance in his poetry.
