عنوان فارسی بررسی میزان بیان ژن E- cadherin در خون محیطی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان در منطقه جنوب ایران
چکیده فارسی مقاله زمینه: سرطان پستان شایع‌ترین بدخیمی در زنان است و به عنوان دومین عامل مرگ ومیر ناشی از سرطان‌ها محسوب می‌شود. مولکول E- cadherin، یک مولکول گلیکوپروتئینی است که از عرض غشا عبور کرده و در اتصال سلول به سلول نقش اساسی را ایفا می‌کند. با توجه به نقش مولکول اشاره شده، به نظر می‌رسد که میزان بیان این مولکول می‌تواند در سرکوب تومور و جلوگیری از متاستاز تومور به دیگر قسمت‌های بدن نقش اساسی را ایفا نماید. هدف از این تحقیق بررسی میزان بیان مولکول E- cadherin در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان در جنوب کشور و مقایسه آن با افراد سالم می‌باشد. مواد و روش‌ها: با توجه به مطالعات انجام شده توسط دیگر محققین، در این مطالعه مورد- شاهدی، 30 بیمار مبتلا به سرطان پستان مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان‌های شیراز و30 نفر به عنوان گروه کنترل شرکت داشتند. افراد کنترل دارای سابقه خانوادگی سرطان یا بیماری‌های خود ایمنی از مطالعه حذف گردیدند. از خون محیطی افراد جهت استخراج mRNA و ساختن cDNA استفاده شد و جهت تعیین میزان بیان ژن E- cadherin از روش Real Time PCR استفاده شد. آنالیز آماری به وسیله برنامه‌های نرم افزاری SPSS ویرایش 18 و آزمون Mannwithny انجام شد. یافته‌ها: میانه بیان ژن E- cadherin در افراد بیمار مبتلا به سرطان پستان، برابر 29/0 و در افراد کنترل برابر 33/0 بود، نتایج حاصل از تست‌های آماری، نشان‌دهنده عدم ارتباط میان میزان بیان ژن E-cadherin و بیماری سرطان پستان بود (05/0

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women, and is considered as the second causative factor in cancer mortality. E – Cadherin is a transmember glycoprotein and play a essential role in cell-cell adhesion .It seems that E-cadherin Gene expression can plays a role in suppressor of invasion and metastasistumor . The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation of E-cadherin Gene expression with breast cancer in the women population of southern Iran. Materials and Methods: 30 patients and 30 healthy individuals as control participated in this case-control study. mRNA extracted from peripheral blood. Real Time PCR technique was used to determine the Gene expression. The statistical analysis was performed by the software SPSS and Mannwithny test . Results: The results indicated that there is no significant difference in level of E- cadherin Gene expression in patients with breast cancer and the control group (Pv>0.05). Furthermore, we found no significant correlation between the E- cadherin Gene expression with the clinicopathological factors in the patients. Conclusion: it seems that E- cadherin Gene expression, plays no important role in increasing the susceptibility of women to breast cancer in the population of southern Iran.
