عنوان فارسی دختری درون قلعه است؛ قلعه دخترها و داستان‌هایشان
چکیده فارسی مقاله شماری از قلعه‌های ایران قلعه دختر نام دارند. درباره دلایل انتخاب این نام دو نظر اصلی بیان شده است. نخست اینکه به‌دلیل سختیِ دسترسی و ناممکن بودن تصرف آن‌ها چنین نامیده شده‌اند، دیگر اینکه این نام نشان‌دهنده اختصاص این اماکن در گذشته‌ای دور به ایزدی باستانی همچون اناهیتاست. نظر اخیر به‌دلیل تمایل ایرانیان معاصر به بازشناختن مضامین باستانی در آثار و بناهای تاریخی، محبوبیت نسبتاً زیادی یافته و به نوبه خود، شناسایی منشأ برخی از مکان‌های مقدس، همچون زیارتگاه‌های زنانه زرتشتیان و مسلمانان را تحت‌تأثیر قرار داده است. این مقاله اعتبار تاریخی این دو نظر را ارزیابی می‌کند و نشان می‌دهد که این نام‌گذاری، به دشواررس بودن ادعاشده آن قلعه‌ها و یا دین باستانی ایران ارتباطی ندارد. این مقاله نشان می‌دهد که نام‌گذاری این قلعه‌ها محصول خیال‌پردازی عامه مردم بوده و از گنجینه قصه‌ها و روایت‌های عامیانه‌ بهره برده و بُن‌مایه مشترک آن‌ها، حضور دختری در قلعه است. گونه‌هایی از قصه‌های عامیانه که با نام‌گذاری قلعه‌ دخترها در ارتباط بوده‌اند، در این بررسی معرفی شده‌اند.

عنوان انگلیسی A Maiden is in the Castle: Maiden Castles and their Tales
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Some castles are called daughters' castle. There are two main points about the reasons to choose this name. First, because of the difficulty of access and the impossibility of siege, they are called like this. In addition, this name indicates the attribution of these places in ancient times to ancient goddesses such as Anahita. The recent commentary on the tendency of contemporary Iranians to recognize ancient themes in monuments and works of art have become relatively popular and have thus influenced the identification of the origin of some sacred places, such as the sanctuaries of Zoroastrian mosques and Muslim. This article assesses the historical validity of these two points of view and suggests that this designation is not related to the complication of the claimed castles or the ancient Iranian religion. This article shows that the denomination of these castles is as a result of the people's fantasy and uses the treasure of folk tales. Their common theme is the presence of a girl in the castle. The types of folk tales associated with the naming of the castles of girls are presented in this article
