عنوان فارسی بررسی سریع وضعیت تغذیه‌ای کودکان زیر پنج سال شهرستان سلماس در سال ۱۳۹۱
چکیده فارسی مقاله gte vml 1]> چکیده زمینه و هدف: در کشورهای در حال توسعه از هر پنج کودک، یک کودک از سوء تغذیه رنج می‌برد و سوء تغذیه نیمی از موارد مرگ کودکان جهان ناشی از سوء تغذیه است. هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی سریع وضعیت تغذیه‌ای کودکان زیر پنج سال شهرستان سلماس با استفاده نرم‌افزارENA (Emergency Nutrition Assessment) می‌باشد. مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر از نوع مقطعی بوده و بر روی 902 کودک زیر 5 سال در مناطق شهری و روستایی شهرستان سلماس در سال 1391 انجام شد. اطلاعات مورد نیاز به وسیله تکمیل پرسشنامه و اندازه‌گیری‌های آنتروپومتریک جمع آوری و با استفاده از نرم‌افزارENA درصد کم وزنی، کوتاه قدی، لاغری، اضافه وزن و چاقی محاسبه و برای بررسی ارتباط متغیرها با شاخص‌های تغذیه‌ای از آزمون آماری مجذور کای استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: در مطالعه حاضر، 4/50% (455 کودک) دختر و 8/83% (756 کودک) و 2/16% (146 کودک) به ترتیب دارای وضعیت تغذیه‌ای طبیعی و دچار سوء تغذیه بودند. از 146 کودک دارای سوء تغذیه، 4/14% (21 کودک)، 2/45% (66 کودک)، 9/8% (13 کودک)، 7/24% (36 کودک) و 8/6% (10 کودک) به ترتیب کم وزن، کوتاه قد، لاغر، دارای اضافه وزن و چاق بودند. شاخص کوتاه قدی در مناطق روستایی بیش از مناطق شهری بود و این اختلاف از نظر آماری معنی‌دار بود )05/0>.(p نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که شاخص کوتاه قدی در دختران و پسران نسبت به شاخص کم وزنی و لاغری از فراوانی بالاتری برخوردار است. روش مورد استفاده در این بررسی نیز روشی سهل، سریع و دقیق بوده و در بررسی‌های مشابه اپیدمیولوژیکی و بحران‌ها در کشور، وسیله‌ای مناسب بوده و استفاده از آن توصیه می‌گردد. واژه‌های کلیدی: سوء تغذیه، کودکان زیر پنج سال، بررسی سریع

عنوان انگلیسی A Rapid Survey of the Nutritional Status of Under-Five-Year Children in Salmas
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and Objective: One in every five children in developing countries are malnourished, and the poor nutrition is associated with half of all children deaths worldwide. The aim of current study was to assess the nutritional status of less than five-year children in Salmas district, using ENA (Emergency Nutrition Assessment) software. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 902 under-five-year children in urban and rural regions of Salmas district in 2011. The required data were collected by completing the questionnaire and measuring the anthropometric indices. The percentages of underweight, stunting, wasting, overweight and obesity were determined using ENA software. Chi-square test was used for data analysis. Results: In this study, 50.4% (455 children) of children were girls and 83.8% (756 children) and 16.2% (146 children) were normal and malnourished, respectively. Among malnourished children the percentages of underweight, stunting, wasting, overweight and obesity were 14.4% (21 children), 45.2% (66 children), 8.9% (13 children), 24.7% (36 children) and 6.8% (10 children), respectively. Overweight and obesity among boys and in urban areas were more prevalent but these differences were not statistically significant (p>0.05). Stunting in rural areas was more prevalent and this difference was statistically significant (p< 0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the stunting which represents chronic malnutrition among children, among both boys and girls was more frequent than underweight and wasting. In addition, the method used in this study was a simple, rapid, and accurate method and it is suggested using it as a convenient tool for other epidemiological studies and crisis in the country.
