عنوان فارسی مروری بر جنبه‌های اخلاقی در پژوهش‌های حیوانی
چکیده فارسی مقاله چکیده زمینه و هدف: کاربرد حیوانات در پژوهش به دلیل استفاده غیرداوطلبانه از سوژه‌های تحقیق در فرآیندهایی دردناک و زجرآور که معمولاً به مرگ آنها می‌انجامد، از نظر اخلاقی بحث‌برانگیز است. هدف از نگارش این مقاله، مرور جنبه‌های اخلاقی مربوط به بهره‌برداری از حیوانات در پژوهش‌های زیستی و پزشکی از دیدگاه تاریخی، نظری، علمی و اسلامی است. مواد و روش‌ها: عبارت‌ها و واژه‌های انگلیسی و فارسی مرتبط در پایگاه‌های اطلاعات علمی معتبر خارجی و ایرانی مانند PubMed ، Web of Knowledge ، Google Scholar ، Google ، IranMedex ، Magiran و SID جستجو شدند. یافته‌ها و بحث: بررسی تاریخی حاکی از روند افزاینده حساسیت‌ نسبت به کاربرد حیوانات در علوم زیستی و پزشکی در جهان و ایران است. از نظر فلسفی با اثبات وجود آگاهی و قابلیت تجربه درد و رنج در حیوانات، کاربرد روش‌هایی که مستلزم تحمیل درد، رنج و یا کشتن آنهاست را دیگر نمی‌توان توجیه کرد. شواهد علمی اخیر حاکی از توانایی حیوانات در تجربه انواع درد و هیجان و سرکوب آنها در حضور انسان و نیز وجود سامانه‌های هیجانی پایه (مانند خشم، وحشت، ترس، افسردگی و استرس) و مهارت‌های کلامی، حل مشکل، شناخت وابسته به ابزار، تلقین، خودآگاهی، استدلال علیتی، یادگیری انعطاف‌پذیر، تصویرسازی، آینده‌نگری و بازی کردن در آنهاست. این ویژگی‌ها و توانایی‌ها می‌تواند بستری برای حمایت اخلاقی از آنها فراهم آورد. همچنین بر اساس معارف اسلامی، خلقت حیوانات هدفمند بوده و به واسطه داشتن شعور و فطرت، سزاوار مراقبت و احترام هستند و لذا احکام کلی مربوط به نحوه تعامل انسان با حیوانات را می‌توان به کاربرد حیوانات در تحقیقات تعمیم داد. نتیجه‌گیری: رعایت حقوق حیوانات و مسایل اخلاقی در پژوهش‌های حیوانی از پایه‌های محکم نظری، علمی و اسلامی و قانونی برخوردار است. ضروری به نظر می‌رسد که پژوهشگران علاوه بر شناخت و رعایت حقوق حیوانات، به روح مقررات، یعنی به حداقل رساندن کاربرد حیوانات و بهبود کیفیت زندگی سوژه‌های حیوانی، توجه کافی داشته باشند. واژه‌های کلیدی: اخلاق، حقوق، پژوهش، حیوانات، اسلام

عنوان انگلیسی A Review on the Ethical Issues of Animal Research
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and Objectives: The use of laboratory animals for biomedical research, due to using unwilling research subjects in potentially painful or distressful procedures usually leading to death, is a hotly debated ethical issue . The our purpose was to review of ethical issues of using animals in biomedical research from historical, theoretical, scintific and Islamic standpoints. Materials and Methods: To collect appropriate research papers and resources in this regard, the related Persian and English words and phrases were searched in a valid set of Iranian and world scientific databases such as PubMed, Web of Knowledge, Google Scholar, IranMedex, Magiran and SID. Results and Discussion: historitically, there is an increasing sensitivity to using animals in biomedicine in Iran and the world. Theoretically, if animal would have consciousness and ability to experiencing pain and distress, then application of some methods resulted to pain, distress and killing will not justifiable. Recent scientific evidence is suggesting of animal abilities to exprincing and supressing various pains and emotions, as well as the existence of basic emotional systems (such as anger, fear, panic, depression and stress) and vebal, problem-solving skills, tool-related cognition, empathy and self-awareness, causal reasoning, flexible learning, imagination, prospection and Play behavior. These abilities and features may confer a base for ethical protection. Besides, according to Islamic doctrines, the creation of animals has purposeful and animals deserve care and respect hence, many catholic Islamic decrees regarding to the interaction between human and animals may be generalized to animal using in research. Conclusion: Animal rights and ethical issues in the animal research are supported by solid theoretical, scientific, Islamic and legislatorial fundamentals. It seems necessary that researches become aware and comply with the regulations, as well as to have enough attention to the soul of regulations, i.e. to minimize the animal use and to promote the quality of life of animal research subjects.
