عنوان فارسی بررسی نوع انگیزه یادگیری زبان انگلیسی در دانشجویان پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان
چکیده فارسی مقاله زمینه و هدف: انگیزه، متغیری است که در مقوله یادگیری از آن به عنوان یک رکن اساسی یاد می‌شود. صاحبنظران، آن را به دو گونۀ‌ انگیزه یک‌پارچه (Integrative) و انگیزه ابزاری (Instrumental) طبقه‌بندی می‌کنند. در این مطالعه، انگیزه‌ دانشجویان رشته‌های پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در یادگیری زبان انگلیسی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی در سال 1388 انجام شد و کلیه دانشجویان رشته‌های پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان که در مقطع علوم پایه مشغول به تحصیل بودند (200 نفر)، مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. ابزار جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، پرسش‌نامه استاندارد انگیزه‌های یادگیری و نگرش Gardner بود. اطلاعات با استفاده از آزمون‌های توصیفی و تحلیلی از جمله t مستقل مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافته‌ها: از دانشجویان مور د بررسی، 5/35% در رشته دندان‌پزشکی و 5/64% در رشته ‌پزشکی تحصیل می‌کردند. از این تعداد، 8/44% پسر و 2/55% دختر بودند. میانگین کلی نمره بدست آمده از بررسی سؤالات مربوط به سنجش انگیزه‌های یک‌پارچه (83/3) و ابزاری (21/4)، به ترتیب نشان‌دهنده انگیزه زیاد و خیلی زیاد دانشجویان در یادگیری زبان انگلیسی بود. مقایسه میانگین کلی نمرات انگیزه‌های یک‌پارچه و ابزاری، تفاوت معنی‌داری بین این دو انگیزه نشان نداد. نتیجه‌گیری: این مطالعه نشان‌دهنده انگیزه بالای دانشجویان پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم‌پزشکی رفسنجان در یادگیری زیان انگلیسی، و افزایش این انگیزه در طول دوران دانشگاه نسبت به دوران دبیرستان می‌باشد . لذا بایستی دانشجویان را با برنامه‌ریزی صحیح در جهت یادگیری بیشتر، یاری نمود. واژه‌های کلیدی: انگیزه یکپارچه، انگیزه ابزاری، زبان دوم، زبان انگلیسی، دانشجویان

عنوان انگلیسی The Impact of Motivation on English Language Acquisition among Medical and Dentistry Students at Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and objectives : Motivation is an important aspect of language acquisition. Researchers have classified motivation into two types of integrative and instrumental. Based on the importance of these two kinds of motivations, this study has been devised to determine the motivations of medical and dentistry students of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences on language learning. Materials and Methods: In this cross- descriptive study, 200 students of the dentistry and medical schools were chosen by random sampling in 2009. The data gathering method was the integrative and instrumental motivation scale of Gardner. The data were then analyzed using t test. Results: Out of the participants 35.5% were dentistry and 64.5% were medical students: 44.8% were male, and 55.2% were female. The mean of the total points of the integrative motivation was 3.83, while the mean of the instrumental motivation was 4.21. Results indicated that the students had a high motivation and positive attitudes towards learning English. There was no statistical difference between the two types of motivations. Conclusion: This study indicated that there is a high motivation among the medical and dentistry students of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in learning English. Their motivation had also increased since the highschool period, therfore Students should be encouraged to become more motivated inorder to learn the English language fluently.
