چکیده فارسی مقاله آنچه در این مختصر از وجدان کار مورد نظر بوده است، نه بسط و توضیح تعریف منطقی وجدان، قوه نفسانی تمیز حق از باطل، بلکه نمودهای عینی آن توسط افراد و به طور اخص عملکرد کارکنان در ادارات و سازمانها می باشد یعنی ایفای وظایف شغلی حتی بدون نظارت مستقیم. تلاشی است برای پیدا کردن راههایی که بتوان با توسل به آنها، کارکنان را در وضعیتی قرارداد که وظایف شغلی خود را به نحو احسن، بهتر و بیشتر، حتی با وجود عدم حضور سرپرستی نزدیک و نظارت مستقیم انجام دهند. پس چگونه می توان وجدان کار افراد را برانگیخت؟

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Work consciousness meaning to perform tasks without close supervision has three main factors: individual, work itself, and administration. Individual needs, drives, motives, attitudes, and personalities interact with job- related factors such as organizational climate and meaningfullness. The result is observed behavior. Administration- the third main factor- should match to other two factors by the use of due procedures and methods, so that individuals can perform their duties without close supervision. If the match is suitable, both individual satisfaction and performance level will be high, otherwise not. In matching those factors, administration can benefit from: punishment and rewad system, decentralization, performance appraisal, and participative management. In this paper, th author has tried to describe each of these factors, along with some attention to the needs and motives of the individuals. Finally some points have been drawn from the discussion and some suggestions have been made.
