عنوان فارسی نقد و بررسی کاربردهای فلسفی قاعده امتناع انطباع کبیر در صغیر
چکیده فارسی مقاله در فلسفه اسلامی از قاعده عدم گنجانیده شدن شیء بزرگ در شیء کوچک (امتناع انطباع کبیر در صغیر) جهت اثبات غیرمادی بودن محل ثبت تصاویر جزئی بینایی و خیالی (صور مقداری) استفاده شده است. سپس از طریق اثبات غیرمادی بودن محل این صور، قوای ادراکی آنها و نیز فرایند ابصار و تخیل را غیرمادی دانسته‌اند. بدین ترتیب یکی از دلایل غیرمادی بودن عالم خیال (خیال متصل و منفصل) و نیز غیرمادی بودن نفس و قوای آن را عدم امکان انطباع صور خیالی بزرگ در محل مادی مغز دانسته‌اند. این مقاله با جمع‌آوری کاربردهای فلسفی این قاعده و استخراج مبانی مشترک آنها، به بررسی نظرات موافقان و مخالفان این کاربردها پرداخته و با توجه به فیزیولوژی جدید، نشان داده است که مواردی که قدما به آنها استناد کرده‌اند، از مصادیق انطباع کبیر در صغیر به شمار نمی‌آیند. بر این اساس کلیه استدلال‌هایی که در الهیات فلسفه اسلامی از طریق این قاعده مطرح شده‌اند، صحیح نبوده و برای اثبات مدعیات ذکر شده نیازمند برهان‌های دیگری هستیم.

عنوان انگلیسی A Review of the Philosophical Uses of the Rule: Impossibility of Impression of Big Things in a Small Place
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله In Islamic philosophy, the rule of impossibility of impression of big things in a small place has been used to prove the immateriality of their abstracts, imaginations and perceptual powers, as well as the place where the partial images of visual and imaginary images (figurative forms) are used. Thus, one of the reasons for the immateriality of the imaginal world as well as the immateriality of the soul and its powers is the impossibility of supposing large imaginary forms in the material place of brain. In this article, by collecting the philosophical applications of this principle and extracting their shared bases, the views of the proponents and opponents of it were discussed and, according to new physiology, it has been shown that the cases, which have been cited by the ancients philosophers were not considered as the impossibility of impression of big things in a small place. Thus, not all the arguments that have been arisen in the theology of Islamic philosophy through this rule were correct; and other proofs are needed to prove the claims. Accordingly, it is necessary to revise this rule in the philosophical applications.
