چکیده فارسی مقاله گفت‌وگو دربارۀ قدرت الهی یکی از ارزنده‌ترین مباحث عقلانی و قرآنی و مهم‌ترین وجه امتیاز دیدگاه خداپرستان در مورد آغازگر آفرینش می‌باشد؛ زیرا الهیون اعتقاد دارند که پدیدآورنده جهان خداوندی توانا و حکیم و مختار است، ولی مادیون مبدأ آفرینش را ذراتی ناتوان و فاقد شعور و اراده می‌پندارند. قدرت از صفات ذاتی پروردگار متعال و بی‌نهایت است و بر همه چیز تعلق می‌گیرد و محدود به صادر اول نمی‌شود و سریان قاعدۀ «الواحد لا یصدر عنه الا الواحد» بر خداوند متعال هم مغالطه‌ای بیش نیست. گر چه قدرت بر قبیح و محال ذاتی تعلق نمی‌گیرد؛ زیرا شأن باری‌تعالی اجل از آن است که قبیح را انجام دهد و محال ذاتی هم صلاحیت تعلق قدرت را ندارد. در این مقاله به دیدگاه‌های گوناگون در مورد ربط حادث به قدیم اشاره شده و نظریه حقّ تبیین گردیده و سرانجام هم نقش ایمان به قدرت الهی در زندگی انسان در خلال دو نمونه ترسیم شده است.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Talking about the Power of the Almighty is one of the most precious intellectual and Qur’ānic discourses and the most significant aspect of the theists’ perspective concerning the Originator of creation; as they believe that the originator of the world is an Almighty, All-wise, and Authorized God, but the materialists regard the source of creation to be the incapable and unintelligent particles. Power is among the Exalted Allah’s essential attributes and is infinite, embracing all things and not limited to the first emanated. Furthermore, the application of the rule “from the One does not proceed but one” to the Exalted Allah is nothing more than a mere fallacy. However, power does not belong to evil and the inherently impossible, as the Most Exalted Creator is too dignified to do evil, and the inherently impossible is not qualified to be the object of power. In this article, various perspectives on the relation of the temporal to the eternal are touched upon and the right view is propounded; and finally, the role of faith in the Power of the Almighty in human life is described by two examples.
