عنوان فارسی تحول جایگاه نفت و تسلیحات در روابط ایالات متحده و عربستان سعودی (۲۰۱۹-۲۰۰۹)
چکیده فارسی مقاله روابط دو کشور عربستان سعودی و ایالات متحده آمریکا که دارای منافع غیرهم‌سو با جمهوری اسلامی ایران می‌باشند، یکی از مسائل مهم و مورد توجه تصمیم‌سازان و تصمیم گیران امنیت کشور بوده است. در همین راستا پژوهش حاضر تلاش دارد تا با بهره‌گیری از نظریه حامی – پیرو به این سوال پاسخ دهد که بین سال‌های 2009 تا 2019 چه تحولی در جایگاه نفت و تسلیحات در رابطه ایالات متحده آمریکا و عربستان سعودی ایجاد شده است؟ بررسی‌ها نشان می‌دهد آمریکا با افزایش تولید نفت و تنوع بخشیدن به سبد خرید نفتی خود در حال کاهش وابستگی به نفت عربستان می‌باشد. در عین حال این کشور تلاش دارد ضمن کاهش هزینه‌های امنیتی خود در منطقه، با افزایش فروش تسلیحات به عربستان و افزایش وابستگی آن‌ها در این زمینه، نقش این کشور را از تامین‌کنندۀ نفتی به تنظیم‌کنندۀ بازار انرژی سوق دهد. از سوی دیگر سعودی‌ها هم با درک این موضوع که نیازمندی آمریکا به نفت در حال کاهش است و ضمن تردید در تعهد آمریکا به حفظ امنیت کشورشان، با افزایش خرید تسلیحات از آن کشور و نمایش قدرت در بازار بین‌المللی انرژی، به دنبال ایجاد مزیتی دیگر برای آمریکا و جلب حمایت و تداوم اتحاد با ایالات متحده می‌باشند.

At the same time, this country is trying to reduce its security costs in the region, with Saudi Arabia's vast oil reserves and its position in the region, increasing the arms sales to Saudi Arabia and increasing their dependence on the country's role as an oil supplier, Leading the energy market regulator. On the other hand, the Saudis, after realizing that the US need for oil is decreasing, while doubting the American commitment to maintaining their country's security, has increased its arms purchases from that country and demonstrated its power in the international energy market to create another advantage. It is for the United States to win support and continue to unite with the United States.
