عنوان فارسی ساختارشکنی یادنگاشت زن ایرانی در عطر سنبل عطر کاج اثر فیروزه جزایری دوما
چکیده فارسی مقاله در این مقاله، نقد گفتمان شرق‌شناسی و ساختارشکنی «یادنگاشت زنایرانی» در عطر سنبل عطر کاج نوشته فیروزه جزایری دوما بررسی و تحلیل شدهاست. دوما در این یادنگاشت توانسته است نمونه کمابیش متفاوتی از نگاه زن مهاجرایرانی به ایران و آمریکا را به نمایش بگذارد، و انگاره‌های خوانندگان غربی دربارهایران و انتظاراتشان از یادنگاشتِ زن ایرانی را به چالش بکشد. در این پژوهش نشانمی‌دهیم که چگونه دوما، با خلق موقعیت‌ها وتوصیف و مقایسه صحنه‌هایی از زندگیایرانی‌ها و آمریکایی‌ها، باورهای شرق‌شناسانه، خرافه‌گرایی، زن‌ستیزی، جزم‌اندیشی،خردستیزی و واپس‌گراییِ ایرانیان را به چالش کشیده است. وی همچنین به شیوه‌ایتمثیلی موانع و مخاطرات پیش‌روی داستان‌نویسان مهاجر ایرانی را به تصویر کشیده واز این طریق روایت خود را در تقابل با یادنگاشت‌هایی عرضه می‌کند که در آنها زنانمهاجر ایرانی خواسته یا ناخواسته به باورهای شرق‌شناسانه دامن زده و نوعی فمنیسمآلوده به شرق‌شناسی را عرضه کرده‌اند.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله This study of Firoozeh Dumas' Funny in Farsi seeks to demonstrate the memoirist's critique oforientalism and memoiristic images of Iran. In Funny in Farsi,whichlike most of the post-9/11 diasporic memoirs by Iranian women has been writtenin English, the author has tried to answer the unprecedented curiosity ofwestern readers about Iranian-Islamic culture, especially the issue of Iranianwomen. One significant aspect of Dumas' memoir is its recourse to satire, whichdifferentiates it from the bulk of Iranian women's diasporic memoirs with theircharacteristically tragic story of loss and frustration. In this satiricmemoir, Dumas has challenged western readers' unreal images of Iran and theirexpectation of "Iranian woman's diasporic memoir" as a genre. She hassatirized the stereotypical images of Iran in Iranian women's diasporic memoirswhich are mostly rooted in orientalists' works and the western media, and hasreplaced them with more objective and historical images. Through thisalternative approach to the representation of Iran's cultural and socialcomplexities, Dumas has extended the generic boundaries of the so-called"Iranian woman's diasporic memoir" and has demonstrated theorientalist and feminist-orientalist ingredients of this contemporary genre.
