چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Artists of all nations, through literature, havs generallyattended to the description and depiction of fundamental issues of the worldsuch as "death and life". Persian literature has also been concernedwith these concepts. These concepts have been represented extensively by greatcontemporary Iranian poets such as Sepehri, Akhavan, Farrokhzad, Nima, andShamloo. With regard to the specific world view of each of these poets, their treatmentof these two concepts, is naturally varied. Some look at these issuesoptimistically while others have a negative view of them. The present articleintends to survey the differences in the world-views of these poets with regardto the issues of death and life while drawing examples from their work.
