عنوان انگلیسی Real Scientific Index (RSI): A totally new approach in quantifying the real academic value of an author in the contemporary literature
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The utility of an h-index has been globally accepted and is of substantial value, However, it has its limitations because it fails to evaluate the quality of the research work and thus makes it exceedingly difficult for an assessor to correctly guage an author's work and ranking. Besides the h-index, a scientific index has also been forwarded recently which considers the total number of published papers and the total citations. In this article, the authors have endeavored to carve out a new formula coined as the Real Scientific Index to evaluate the qualitative status of an author by employing quantitative indexes.
