عنوان فارسی بررسی آگاهی پرستاران در رابطه با احتیاط های استاندارد و ایزولاسیون
چکیده فارسی مقاله سابقه و هدف: با توجه به افزایش شیوع عفونت های منتقله بوسیله خون و ترشحات بدن و شیوع بیماری های نوپدید عفونی مانند انفلونزای مرغی و سارس و با توجه به این امر که کارکنان بهداشتی از جمله پرستاران در خطر ابتلا به عفونت ها قرار دارند، مرکز کنترل بیماری ها (CDC) و مرکز مدیریت بیماریها رعایت احتیاط های استاندارد در مورد کلیه بیماران و ایزولاسیون را در موارد خاص توصیه نموده اند. لذا هدف این مطالعه بررسی اطلاعات و دانش پرستاران در رابطه با موارد فوق بودروش بررسی: در یک مطالعه توصیفی، 191 پرستار بیمارستان های آموزشی پرسشنامه ای شامل 12 سوال چهار گزینه ای در رابطه با احتیاط های استاندارد و ایزولاسیون توصیه شده توسط مرکز کنترل بیماری ها را تکمیل نمودند. ابتدا پرسش نامه هنجاریابی گردید و آلفای کرونباخ آن در حد قابل قبول بود. پرسش نامه 12 امتیاز داشت و بر اساس آن پاسخ دهندگان به 4 گروه خوب، متوسط، ضعیف و خیلی ضعیف تقسیم بندی شدند. جهت تفسیر نتایج از آزمون های آماری توصیفی، آزمون t، کای دو و آزمون دقیق فیشر استفاده شد.یافته ها: از 191 پرستار مورد پژوهش، 169 نفر زن و 13 نفر مرد بودند و در 9 مورد جنسیت مشخص نشده بود. 56 درصد شاغل در بیمارستان جنرال، 28/2 درصد شاغل در بیمارستان کودکان، 12/6درصد شاغل در بیمارستان زنان و زایمان و 3/2 درصد شاغل در بیمارستان روانپزشکی بودند. میانگین امتیازات 1.6±6.9 از 12 بدست آمد. 4/2 درصد جمعیت مورد مطالعه در گروه خوب، 57/6 درصد در گروه متوسط، 35/1 درصد در گروه ضعیف و 3/1 درصد در گروه خیلی ضعیف قرار گرفتند.نتیجه گیری: با توجه به اینکه برای یک عملکرد صحیح در رابطه با ایزولاسیون و احتیاط های استاندارد نیاز به دانش کافی می باشد، لذا ضرورت برنامه ریزی های آموزشی بیشتر در این زمینه برای اکثر کارکنان بهداشتی درمانی و بخصوص پرستاران وجود دارد.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: Regarding incremental trend in infections transmitted by blood or other body secretions, and evolving infectious diseases such as avian influenza and SARS, and keeping in mind that health care personnel including nurses are at high risk of being infected, Center for Disease Control (CDC) has recommended standard precautions for all infectious diseases and isolation in cases of specific diseases. Aims of this study were to asses and determine knowledge and information of nursing staff on isolation and standard precautions. Materials and methods: In a descriptive study, 191 nurses of educational hospitals completed a questionnaire consisting 12 questions about standard precautions and isolation recommended by CDC. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire was good and Kronbach alpha was measured 82%. Questionnaire scored 12 points and the responders were divided in 4 categories, including well, intermediate, weak, and very weak. The data were analyzed by EpiInfo2000 with t-test, chi-square and Fisher exact test. Results: Of 191 nurses, 169 were female, 13 were male and 9 persons didn’t identify their gender. 56% worked in a general hospital, 28.2% in children's hospital, 12.6% in obstetrics and gynecology hospital and 3.2% in psychiatric hospital. Average score was 6.9±1.6 out of 12 points. 4.2% scored well, 57.6% intermediate, 35.1% weak and 3.1% very weak. Conclusion: Correct isolation and standard precautions need sufficient knowledge, and nurses and healthcare workers should have more detailed and comprehensive education in this field.
