چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: دانشگاهها موتور محرکه کشورها در عصر دانایی هستند. تعالی دانشگاهها به رهبری موفق اعضای هیات علمی وابسته است. یکی از الگوهای موفقیت برای سازمانها استفاده از رهبری تراز پنج است. این مطالعه با هدف شناسایی مشخصات رهبران تراز پنج از دیدگاه اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گیلان در سال 96 انجام گرفته است. روش: این پژوهش از نوع پژوهش های کیفی است که با استفاده از رویکرد تحلیل محتوی انجام شد .جامعه آماری اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گیلان در سال 96 بود که با رویکرد نمونه گیری هدفمند تعداد 19 نفر به عنوان مشارکت کنندگان در پژوهش انتخاب شدند. برای به دست آوردن اعتبار و روایی داده­ها از دو روش بازبینی مشارکت کنندگان و مرور خبرگان غیر شرکت کننده در پژوهش استفاده شد. یافته ها: داده ها پس از تجزیه و ترکیب در قالب 66 کد اولیه و4 مقوله اصلی دسته بندی گردید.مقوله های اصلی شامل: مشخصات،راهکارها،موانع و دستاوردها بودند. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به اهمیت اقدامات آموزشی، درمانی و بهداشتی وزارت بهداشت، برنامه ریزان با دیدگاه سیستمی در سطح کلان به مدیریت تراز پنج توجه و دقت کافی نمایند.

عنوان انگلیسی University Excellence with Level 5 Leadership Approach: A Qualitative Study
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Universities are the driving engine of countries in the knowledge age The excellence of universities depends on the success of the faculty. One of the success models for organizations is Level 5 Leadership. The purpose of this research is to identify the characteristics of the 5th level leaders research .from the viewpoint of faculty members  Method:  This research is a kind of qualitative research that was done using content analysis approach. The statistical population consisted of faculty members of Guilan University of Medical Sciences in 2017 With targeted sampling method, 19 people were selected as participants in the study.In order to obtain validity and validity of the data, two methods of reviewing the participants and reviewing non-participating experts in the research were used. Results: After data analysis, 64 primary and 4 main categories were classified. Main categories include Attributes, solutions, barriers and achievements. Sub-themes include management abilities, moral excellence, compliance with law and management principles, Necessary incentives, Meritocracy, Structural, Individual and motivational, Individual and structural excellence, Economic ,Educational and research, Political and social Conclusion:Considering the importance of educational, health and medical activities  of Medical Universities Level 5 leadership can be a good model for organizational excellence.Consideration of the dimensions identified in Level 5 leadership should also be considered in the selection of corporate executives.
