عنوان فارسی نقد و تحلیل کتاب درآمدی به فلسفه زبان
چکیده فارسی مقاله این مقاله به نقد و تحلیل کتاب درآمدی به فلسفۀ زبان اثر لایکن (2008) و ترجمۀ میثم محمدامینی اختصاص دارد. «فلسفۀ زبان» یکی از درس‌های رشتۀ زبان‌شناسی در مقطع دکتری است و همین کتاب در فهرست منابع پیش‌نهادی مصوب وزارت علوم قرار دارد. نویسندۀ کتاب سعی دارد تا با‌تکیه‌بر منابع دست‌اول و به‌دور از سوگیری، اهم بحث‌های فیلسوفان زبان درباره ماهیت معنی و نظریه‌های مختلف معنایی را عرضه کند و این کار را با پرهیز از فروغلتیدن در پیچیدگی‌های خاص فلسفه و با نظمی منطقی به‌انجام می‌رساند. از‌آن‌جا‌که متون فارسی در حوزۀ فلسفۀ زبان بسیار معدود و گاهی تاریخ‌گذشته‌اند، ترجمۀ اثر فوق ضرورت و اهمیت خاصی می‌یابد. از‌سوی‌دیگر، امروزه علاوه‌بر صاحب‌نظران رشتۀ فلسفه، صاحب‌نظران رشتۀ زبان‌شناسی، به‌ویژه پژوهش‌گران حوزۀ معنی‌شناسی، با مباحث فلسفۀ زبان درگیرند. در این مقاله، پس از معرفی اجمالی کتاب فوق، نمایی کلی از فلسفۀ زبان ترسیم می‌شود. سپس، ساختار کتاب با‌توجه‌به تمام بخش‌ها و اجزای آن معرفی می‌شود. ارزیابی و تحلیل شکلی و محتوایی اثر مهم‌ترین بخش مقاله را تشکیل می‌دهد و طی آن به نقاط ضعف و قوت اثر، به‌ویژه ازنظر نگارش، برابرگزینی اصطلاحات فنی، و برگردان مناسب مفاهیم توجه می‌شود.

عنوان انگلیسی A Critical Analysis of the Book “Philosophy of Language: a Contemporary Introduction”
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله This article is a critical analysis of William G. Lycan's Philosophy of Language: a Contemporary Introduction (2nd ed.) that is translated to Persian by Meysam Mohammadamini. "Language Philosophy" is one of the courses in the field of Linguistics which is offered by the Ministry of Education to be taught. The author tries to rely on the first-hand sources and report the disputes of the language philosophers on the nature of the meaning and the related theories without bias. He tries to avoid falling into the complexities of philosophy and discuss the issues with a rational order.  Since Persian texts are rare and mostly out of date, this translation becomes of particular importance. Moreover, language philosophers are not supposed to be the only readers of the book. Scholars of linguistics, also deal with the issues of language philosophy in recent years. The book has a rich and well-engineered content. This article gives a brief introduction of the book, provides a preview of the philosophy of language. Then, the structure of the book is introduced regarding all its components. The evaluation and analysis of the book in terms of both form and content constitutes the center of the discussion, during which the weaknesses and strengths of the translation are emphasized, especially in terms of comprehensibility and readability of the text, the choice of technical terminology and proper rendering of the author's concepts.
