عنوان فارسی جایگاه اقتصاد و جامعه در اندیشۀ ماکس وبر
چکیده فارسی مقاله هدف این نوشتار بررسی جایگاه آن‌چه مهم‌ترین اثر ماکس وبر نامیده شده، یعنی اقتصاد و جامعه، در اندیشۀ اوست. در نقد خوانش پارسونزی (talcott parsons) و یک‌پارچه‌سازِ وبر، گفته شده که گسستی میان وبرِ متقدم ـ وبرِ تأملاتِ روش‌شناختی دربارۀ مفهوم‌پردازی «فرد تاریخی» (historical individual) و اخلاق پروتستان و روح سرمایه‌داری (The Protestant Ethic and The Spirit of Capitalism) و وبر متأخر ـ وبرِ اقتصاد و جامعه (Economy and Society) و جامعه‌شناسی تفهمی (Interpretive Sociology) دیده می‌شود؛ گسستی مبتنی‌بر گذار از فردیت تاریخی به جامعه‌شناسی به‌مثابۀ علمی انتزاعی، گونه‌شناختی (typological)، و جهان‌شمول. این نوشتار نشان می‌دهد که خصلت این گذار نه گسست، بلکه یک تداوم پرتنش است و این‌که اندیشۀ وبر، چه متقدم و چه متأخر، متمرکز است بر صورت‌بندی‌های متفاوتِ فردِ تاریخیِ «سرمایه‌داری مدرن» و «قفس آهنین» (iron cage). به این منظور، درابتدا، نگاهی خواهیم انداخت به تاریخچه و ساختارِ «اقتصاد و جامعه». سپس، گذارِ پیش‌گفته بررسی خواهد شد. درپایان، به تأمل در تنشِ گریز‌ناپذیر در اندیشۀ وبر پرداخته می‌شود تا از این طریق حدود و ثغور یک گفت‌وگوی انتقادی و مولّد با او ترسیم شود.

عنوان انگلیسی The Position of “Economics and Society” in the Max Weber’s Thought
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله  This article aimed at examining the position of what is often described as Max Weber's most important work "Economy and Society" in his thought. According to a Parsonian and totalizing reading of Weber, there is a break between an early Weber (a Weber focusing on methodological reflections on conceptualizing "Historical individual" and "The Protestant Ethic and Spirit of Capitalism") and a late Weber (a Weber focusing on "Economy and Society" and "Interpretative Sociology"); this break is based on a transition from historical individuality to sociology as an abstract, typological and universalizing science. In this text, I want to demonstrate that this transition is not a break but a tension-fraught continuity and that Weber's thought (both early and late Weber) focuses on the different historical-individual formations of "modern capitalism" and "iron cage". To do so, I will first review the history and structure of "Economy and Society". Then, the before-mentioned transition will be examined. Then I will deal with the unavoidable tension in Weber's thought in order to outline a critical and productive dialogue with him.
