عنوان فارسی ماهیت عقل و توانایی آن در فرایند شناخت
چکیده فارسی مقاله در این نوشتار، ماهیت عقل، حدود و توانایی آن در شناخت بررسی شده است. به این منظور مطالعاتی در مورد دیدگاه‌های برخی فلاسفه و عرفای معروف و نیز نگرشی دینی انجام شد. در حین بررسی نظریات متعدد، با اختلافات، تضاد و تشتت آراء در مورد ذات و حقیقت عقل، محدوده شناخت عقل و نیز ارائه یک تعریف جامع برای عقل مواجه شدیم. ضمن تعریف عقل به معنای فهم ثابت می‌شود که فهم، از علوم تجربی، فلسفه، عرفان، دین و سایر معارف، ابزار، مواد و مصالح خودش را می‌گیرد و به تحلیل هر کدام از آنها می‌پردازد و چون هرکدام از آنها حوزه ویژه خود را دارد، نمی‌تواند در باب حوزه دیگری اظهار نظر کرده، یا آن را انکار کند، از این رو اختلاف هر یک با دیگری طبیعی است و انکار نابجاست.

عنوان انگلیسی The Essence of Intellect and its ability in the Cognitive process
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله In this piece of writing, we have considered the essence of intellect and its limit and ability in the cognitive process. For the purpose of this study, three different viewpoints- philosophy, Gnosticism and religion –have been considered. While considering various viewpoints, we’ve encountered disagreement, contradiction and diversity of opinions on intellect in itself and its cognitive limit. All in all, we’ve met a comprehensive knowledge on intellect; meaning understanding. Intellect as understanding concludes that intellect prepares its ingredients and instruments from experimental, philosophy, Gnosticism, religion and other knowledge then analyses each of them. Each of these cognitive instruments has especial realm of study so none of them are able to know or deny the other. Conclusively, contradiction among them is sensible furthermore none can deny the other. .
