عنوان فارسی بررسی و نقد مؤلفه‌های فرهنگی و هویتی کتاب درسی زبان انگلیسی پایه اول متوسطه (هفتم)
چکیده فارسی مقاله چکیده مقاله حاضر به بررسی کتاب زبان انگلیسی پایه اول متوسطه (هفتم) از منظر مولفه‌های فرهنگی و هویتی شامل اسامی اشخاص، اماکن، البسه، پوشش، غذا، نوشیدنیها و مشاغل می‌پردازد. بررسی این کتاب بر اساس روش تحلیل محتوایی، مصاحبه و گفتگو با 8 معلم که کتاب حاضر را تدریس کردهاند و 12 نفرمتخصص حوزه آموزش زبان تهیه شده است.نتایج این بررسی نشان می دهد که مولفین نتوانسته اند به اندازه کافی به مولفه های فرهنگی بپردازند. کتاب حاضربه صورت کلی متمرکز بر فرهنگ بومی ایران است و نمونه هایی از فرهنگ جهانی در آن دیده نمی شود. نکته دیگرآن که، تنها مسائل فرهنگی و هویتیِ شهر تهران در این کتاب منعکس گردیده و خصیصه‌های فرهنگی سایر مناطق ایران در آن نادیده گرفته شده است. بر همین اساس در پایان این مقاله راهکارهایی برای بهبود این کاستی ها ارائه شده است.

عنوان انگلیسی Investigating the cultural and identity parameters in the seventh grade English language textbook (Prospect 1)
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Abstract The present study investigates the cultural and identity parameters manifested in the seventh grade English language textbook (Prospect 1) at Iranian schools. The primary focus of the study was on the characters, locales, apparel, foods, drinks, and professions presented in the book. The analysis of this textbook was based on content analysis, interview with 8 teachers and 12 domain experts in language teaching who had taught and analyzed the book respectively. The results of this analysis showed that the authors of the book were not successful enough in communicating and manifesting the cultural points in the book. The whole book was designed based on the Iranian local culture, as explicated by the Iranian Ministry of Education,shying away from the international cultural points. In addition, most of, if not wholly, cultural and identity issues of Tehran were highlighted and the parameters of other ethnicities and cultures were marginalized or totally neglected. Based on the findings achieved, some guidelines are provided at the end of the paper.
