عنوان فارسی در نسبت طبیعیات قدیم و جدید و بررسی و نقد آرای برخی صاحبنظران
چکیده فارسی مقاله طبیعیات دورۀ اسلامی از مواریث گرانسنگی است که به لحاظ اعتبار و تأثیر در دوران شکوفائی تمدن اسلامی و احتمال بهره‌گیری از بخش‌هایی از آن در دوران معاصر، شایستۀ توجه بیشتر است. در این مقاله ضمن اشاره به طبیعیات و شاخه‌های مختلف آن در تمدن اسلامی، جایگاه و موقعیت آن در میان علوم دورۀ اسلامی مشخص می‌شود. این مقاله مدعی است که به علت هجوم علوم جدید به ایران، سیطرۀ بلامنازع آن در نهادهای علمی، بی توجهی صاحب نظران معاصر به مواریث علمی قدیم، و ضعف درک ترابط علوم طبیعی قدیم و جدید، منجر به برداشت‌های غیر علمی، قضاوت‌های ناقص، و گاه داوری‌های ناروا از طبیعیات دورۀ اسلامی شده است. در این مقاله، برای درک دقیق‌تر و داوری بهتر از علوم طبیعی دورۀ اسلامی در عصر حاضر، انقسام تازه‌ای از طبیعیات پیشنهاد می‌شود.

عنوان انگلیسی A Comparison between the Old and the New Natural Sciences and Reviewing and Criticizing Some Experts' Opinions
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The natural sciences in the Islamic period are precious heritages that deserve more attention in terms of their validity and impact during the heyday of Islamic civilization and the possibility of using parts of them in the contemporary era. In this article, while referring to the natural sciences and their various branches in Islamic civilization, their positions and status among the sciences of the Islamic period is examined. This article claims that the invasion of new sciences in Iran, their undisputed dominance in scientific institutions, the inattention of contemporary scholars to the ancient scientific heritage, and the lack of understanding of the relationship between the old and new natural sciences, led to the unscientific perceptions and incomplete judgments. Sometimes incorrect judgments have been made on the natural sciences of the Islamic period. For a more accurate understanding and better judgment of the natural sciences of the Islamic period in the present era, a new division of the natural sciences is propose in this article.
