چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: سیاست‌های شهری، از جمله حوزه‌های مطالعاتی است که از دهه 1960، توجه جغرافیدانان سیاسی را به خود جلب کرده و از اواسط دهه 1990، ظهور رویکردهای تخصصی مانند جغرافیای سیاسی شهری و ژئوپلیتییک شهری وارد حوزه جغرافیای سیاسی شده و جغرافیدانان به ارایه نظریات و دیدگاه‌های تخصصی در این زمینه مشغول شده‌اند. سیری در اندیشه فیلسوفان معروف، نشان‌دهنده توجه متقدمان به شهر و سیاست است. آنها شهر را به مثابه یک جامعه سیاسی مورد مطالعه قرار می‌دادند که در آنجا طبیعت بالقوه آدمی می‌تواند فعلیت یابد و از کمال برخوردار شود. بنابراین، مطالعه شهر در دوره‌های زمانی بیشتر بر محور سیاست و برنامه‌ریزی‌های سیاسی بوده است؛ چون شهر، مکان و بستر رشد انسان در نظر گرفته می‌شده است. در این مطالعه مروری، به بررسی مسائل سیاسی، اقتصادی و فرهنگی شهر و شهرگرایی در جغرافیای سیاسی در سطح خرد، پرداخته شد. نتیجه‌گیری: مطالعه روابط متقابل سیاست و فضای شهر، در توسعه جغرافیای سیاسی و گسترش مطالعات جغرافیدانان سیاسی حائز اهمیت بسیاری است. از نظر جغرافیدانان سیاسی، شهر و شهروند به مثابه بازیگران اصلی تغییر دامنه قدرت و قلمرو حکمرانی کشورها در جهان هستند. در واقع، کشورهای توسعه‌یافته همان میزبانان شهرهای جهانی هستند. امروزه کلیدی‌ترین تصمیمات در ابعاد سیاسی، اقتصادی و فرهنگی در مقیاس شهری، گرفته می‌شود؛ یعنی جایی که قدرت تمرکز دارد و در نهایت به ساختارهای متغیر در اقتصاد و سیاست جهانی راه می‌یابد.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Urban politics is one of the fields of study that has attracted the attention of political geographers since the '60s and since the mid-90s, the emergence of specialized approaches such as urban political geography and urban geopolitics has entered the field of political geography and geographers. They have provided expert opinions and views in this field. Siri in the thought of famous philosophers shows the early attention of the city to politics. They studied the city as a political society, where human potential nature could be actualized and perfected. Therefore, the study of the city in time periods has been more focused on politics and political planning; because the city was considered the place and bed of human growth. In this review study, the political, economic and cultural issues of the city and urbanism in political geography at the micro level were studied. Conclusion: The study of the relationship between politics and urban space is very important in the development of political geography and the study of political geographers. From the point of view of political geographers, the city and the citizen as the main actors are changing the scope of power and sovereignty of countries in the world. In fact, developed countries are the hosts of global cities. Today, the most key decisions are made in the political, economic, and cultural dimensions on an urban scale; that is, where power is concentrated and ultimately finds its way into the changing structures of world economics and politics.
