عنوان فارسی بررسی علل شرکت داوطلبان در آزمون کارشناسی ارشد رشته کتابداری و اطلاع رسانی پزشکی و نحوه آشنائی با این رشته
چکیده فارسی مقاله این پژوهش یک مطالعه توصیفی است که با هدف کلی تعیین علل شرکت داوطلبان در آزمون کارشناسی ارشد کتابداری و اطلاع رسانی پزشکی و نحوه آشنایی آنان با این رشته انجام گرفت. جامعه مورد مطالعه پژوهش حاضر کلیه داوطبان شرکت کننده در ازمون ورودی سال 1374 بود. تعداد افراد این جامعه جمعا 173 نفر که 123 نفر زن و بقیه مرد بودند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه بود که درز مینه اطلاعات دموگرافیک شخص مورد مطالعه و علل شرکت این افراد در آزمون ورودی کارشناسی ارشد کتابداری و اطلاع رسانی پزشکی و نحوه‌آشنایی آنها با رشته مذکور تهیه شده بود. پرسشنامه مزبور روز توزیع کارت ورودی بین داوطلبان شرکت کننده در آزمون توزیع و در همان روز و محل جمع آوری شد. در این پژوهش کل جامعه مورد تجزیه وتحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان داد که 5/28% پاسخ دهندگان از طریق دانشگاه و استادان، 4/17% از طریق دوستان و 8/11% از طریق فارغ التحصیلان رشته کتابداری با این رشته آشنا شده بودند و وسایل ارتباط جمعی در آشناسازی داوطلبان این رشته حدود 10% نقش داشته‌اند. همچنین یافته‌های این پژوهش نشان داد که سه علت عمده انتخاب رشته کتابداری و اطلاع رسانی پزشکی توسط داوطلبان آزمون به ترتیب اولویت عبارت بودند از: ادامه تحصیل در مقطع بالاتر (5/43%) علاقه به کتاب (2/26%) پیشرفت شغلی (5/23%) یافته‌های این پژوهش همچنین نشان داد که بین میزان علاقه داوطلب با میزان شناخت وی از رشته کتابداری رابطه معنی داری وجود دارد. (013/0 = P ،‌5 = df ، 67/17 = X2) از طرفی بین میزان علاقه داوطلب با رشته کارشناسی وی ارتباط وجود داشت. (025/0 = P ،‌4 = df ، 8/10 = X2) بین میزان علاقه داوطلب به رشته مزبور و عواملی مانند محل فارغ التحصیلی، نوع مدرک کارشناسی، سن، جنس و شغل ارتباطی وجود نداشت.

عنوان انگلیسی Why volunteers participate in the entrance exam for MS degree in librarianship and medical information course? How they have got acquainted with it?: Investigation of the reasons
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله As a descriptive study, the present work intends to generally investigate the reasons for volunteers' participation in the entrance exam of MS degree in librarianship and medical information course and the methods of their acquaintance with it. All volunteers participating in the entrance exam in 1994 were studied as subjects in this research. Subjects were 173 including 123 females and 50 males. Data were collected by questionnaires containing subjects' demographic information, reasons for their participation in the entrance exam for MS degree in librarianship and medical information course and methods of their acquaintance with the course. The questionnaires were distributed among participating subjects on the distribution day of entrance cards and were collected on the same day and in the same place. Responses of all subjects were analyzed for this study. The results showed that 28.5% of respondents were got acquainted with the course by university and professors, 17.4% by friends and 11.8% by graduates of this course. Multimedia devices influenced their acquaintance with the course about 10%. The results also showed that three major reasons for the selection of librarianship and medical information course by volunteers were as follows according to their priority: - Continuing studies in higher degrees (43.5 %) - Interest in books (26.2 %) - Job promotion (23.5 %) The findings also displayed that there was a significant association between interest rate of volunteers in the course and their knowledge of the course (X2 = 17.67, df = 5, p = 0.013) There was also an association between the interests of volunteers and their major in BA (X2 = 10.8, df = 4, p = 0.025) There was no association between the interest of the volunteers in the course and factors such as place of graduation, type of BA degree, age, gender and occupation.
