عنوان فارسی رابطه امنیت غذایی با عوامل اجتماعی- اقتصادی و وضعیت وزن نوجوانان
چکیده فارسی مقاله سابقه و هدف: با توجه به اینکه ناامنی غذایی می‌تواند پیشساز مشکلات تکاملی، سلامتی و تغذیه‌ای باشد، تعیین عوامل مرتبط با آن در هر جامعه‌ای ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین امنیت غذایی و عوامل اجتماعی- اقتصادی و وضعیت وزن نوجوانان و مادران آنها در شهر اصفهان طراحی و اجرا شد. مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر از نوع تحلیلی مقطعی بود که در آن، دو گروه مورد و شاهد با هم مقایسه شدند. این مطالعه در پاییز 1387 روی580 دانش‌آموز (261 پسر و 319 دختر) سنین14 تا 17 سال از 40 دبیرستان شهر اصفهان انجام گرفت. نمونه‌ها به روش سیستماتیک خوشه‌ای انتخاب شدند. پرسـشنامه‌های عمـومی و امنیت غذایی USDAاز طریق مصاحبه با دانش‌آموزان و مادران آنها تکمیل شد. قد و وزن دانش‌آموزان و مادران آنها اندازه‌گیری شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری SPSS11.5 پردازش شدند و با قبول سطح معنی‌داری 05/0>P مورد قضاوت آماری قرار گرفتند. به منظور بررسی ارتباط امنیت غذایی و متغیرهای مورد بررسی از آزمون‌های آماری کای اسکور، T مستقل، ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن و برآزش رگرسیون لجستیک استفاده شد. یافته‌ها‌: در بررسی حاضر، ناامنی غذایی با بُعد خانوار و رتبه تولد ارتباط آماری مستقیمی داشت(05/0>P). همچنین بین ناامنی غذایی و سطح تحصیلات والدین، جایگاه شغلی والدین و وضعیت اقتصادی خانوار ارتباط آماری معکوسی مشاهده شد(05/0>P). بین وضعیت امنیت غذایی و متغیرهای جنس، وضعیت سلامتی از دیدگاه خود، وضعیت اشتها، امتیاز Z قد برای سن، امتیاز Z نمایه توده بدن برای سن، سن والدین و BMI مادر ارتباط آماری معنی‌داری وجود نداشت(05/0

عنوان انگلیسی The association of food security with socio-economic factors and weight status among adolescents
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and objectives: Food insecurity can lead to developmental, health, and nutritional problems, therefore investigation of factors associated with food insecurity seems necessary in every community. The aim of this study was to investigate the association of food security with socio-economic factors and weight status of high school students and their mothers in Esfahan, Iran. Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in autumn 2008 on 580 students (261 boys and 319 girls) aged 14-17 years from 40 high schools in Esfahan, Iran. Using systematic cluster sampling, samples were selected. Socio-economic and food security assessment questionnaires were completed by interviewing students and their mothers. In addition, data on children’s and mothers’ weights and heights were collected. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 11.5 and P< 0.05 was considered as the level of significance. Chi-square and independent-sample t-test, Spearman’s correlation coefficient, and logistic regression were used to investigate the association between food security and independent factors. Results: Food insecurity was positively associated with household size and birth order (P< 0.05). Moreover, negative associations were observed between food insecurity and parental education level, occupation, and household economic status (P< 0.05). There were no statistically significant associations between food security and other variables, including sex, self-reported health status, appetite, height for age z-score, body mass index (BMI) for age z-score, parental age, and mothers’ BMI (P>0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that food insecurity is related to household size, birth order, parental education level and occupation, and household economic status.
