چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has influenced all aspects of human life and has been the cause of many economical and social changes. Applications of ICT are making dramatic changes in educational development. ICT has been the cause of a new revolution in the world which is called information Revolution. It has had many advantages and facilities. This research attempts to study and interpret Yazd University faculty member's use of ICT. 260 questionnaires were distributed among faculty members in colleges and departments. 144 questionnaires were answered and returned back. Collected data was analyzed and computerized by SPSS and Excel software's. Some of the important findings as revealed by the data analysis are listed below: More than 75% of the faculty members use ICT. Computer, Internet, data projector, mobile, online & offline data banks are used more than other ICT's. E-mail and Web sites are the most usable services of the Internet. Teleconference service is not used at all. Statistical chi-square test shows a significant relation between the ICT used variable and the sex, degree, educational status, teaching experience.
