چکیده انگلیسی مقاله In his lecture given in a scholarly session recently held in IRF, Professor Milani briefly introduced the two topics of ``Edition of Texts'' and ``Priorities of Research in the Present Era''. Concerning edition of texts, he emphasized the use of original copies and pointed out that knowing the position of the phrases and distinguishing the principal statements from insignificant ones is among the duties of a researcher. As for the priorities of research, given his universal outlook and his familiarity with the western countries, the speaker deemed necessary the proper defense and propagation of Islam. In this respect, he gave a brief account of part of his activities in England.
