چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: Many women are uninformed of the factors that put them at risk for cardiovascular diseases or the preventative measures that they can take to lower that risk, which makes the incidence of CVDs among women a serious public health concern. Objective(s): To determine correlation between life style factors and demographic characteristics of women with incidence rate of cardiovascular diseases. Methodology: A descriptive correlational design was approved during this study with the aim in to identify the incidence rate of cardiovascular diseases and its associated factors among Women in AL Diwaniyah City. Incidence Rate during the period from January 1, 2023, to April 1, 2023. Results: This table shows the demographic characteristics of participants. The mean age was 54.51 ± 8.24 with the majority of women being above the age of 55 years. Majority of them were elementary school graduates (58.6%) with a small percentage of them being high school graduate (5.1%), (53.5 %) are in low-income families (301,000 – 600,000 Iraqi dinars per months). The majority of women live in nuclear families (85.9%), and most of the women are from rural area. Conclusion: A noteworthy correlation exists between the age of women and their health history, physical activity, and stress management. Age was found to have a statistically significant relationship with factors such as women's surgical history and medication history.
