چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The major transmission route of HBV virus is contact with the blood or other body fluids of an infected person. Apart from parenteral, sexual and vertical transmission, HBV may be transmitted through child to child or household personal contact- but not casual contact, and spread of the infection has been reported through household contacts. This review article aims to evaluate the epidemiology of intrafamilial transmission of HBV infection in different parts of the world.
