عنوان فارسی بررسی همراهی مصرف متفورمین با شدت بیماری، مارکرهای التهابی و پیامد کووید۱۹ در بیماران دیابتی بستری ‌شده به علت کووید در بیمارستان امام خمینی (ره) ساری سال ۱۳۹۹
چکیده فارسی مقاله سابقه و هدف: این مطالعه با هدف بررسی همراهی مصرف متفورمین با شدت بیماری، مارکرهای التهابی وپیامد کووید19 در بیماران دیابتی بستری‌ شده به علت کووید در بیمارستان امام خمینی (ره) ساری طی سال1399 انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی است که پس از گرفتن کد اخلاق و مجوز موافقت ریاست بیمارستان مبنی بر مراجعه به واحد بایگانی و گرفتن پرونده بیماران دیابتی مبتلا به تشخیص کووید19 بستری ‌شده در مرکز آموزشی درمانی امام خمینی انجام شده است. اطلاعات این پژوهش با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS تجزیه ‌و تحلیل شده است.
یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه، 324 بیمار وارد مطالعه شدند؛ به ‌طوری ‌که 168 نفر (51/85 درصد) مرد و 156 نفر (48/15 درصد) زن بودند. اختلاف تعداد افراد با و بدون مصرف متفورمین در نیاز به پذیرش واحد مراقبت‌های ویژه از نظر آماری، معنی‌دار بود (0/0001>P). اختلاف تعداد افراد با و بدون مصرف متفورمین در پیامد نهایی بیماری از نظر آماری، معنی‌دار بود0/0001>P). اختلاف تعداد افراد نیازمند به تهویه تهاجمی با توجه به مصرف متفورمین از نظر آماری، معنی‌دار نبود. (0/056= P)
استنتاج: این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که متفورمین می‌تواند به کاهش مرگ ‌و میر ناشی از COVID-19 کمک کند؛ اما در شدت فاکتورهای التهابی و سیر بیماری تأثیری ندارد

عنوان انگلیسی Investigation of the Association of Metformin Consumption with Disease Severity, Inflammatory Markers, and the Outcome of COVID-19 in Diabetic Patients Hospitalized Due to COVID-19 in Imam Khomeini Hospital, Sari, 2019
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and purpose: The present study investigated the association of Metformin use with disease severity, inflammatory markers, and the outcome of COVID-19 in hospitalized diabetic COVID-19 patients at Imam Khomeini Hospital, Sari, in 2021.
Materials and methods: The current descriptive study was performed after obtaining the code of ethics and permission from the hospital director for the medical records evaluation. The relevant data of diabetic COVID-19 patients admitted at Imam Khomeini Medical Education Center were determined and analyzed using SPSS software.
Results: In this study, 324 patients were included in the study; So that 168 people (51.85%) were men and 156 people (48.15%) were women. The difference in the number of people with and without metformin use in the need to be admitted to the special care unit was statistically significant (P<0.0001). The difference in the number of people with and without metformin use in the final outcome of the disease was statistically significant (P<0.0001). the difference in the number of people needing invasive ventilation according to metformin consumption was not statistically significant. (P= 0.056).
Conclusion: In conclusion, our findings revealed that Metformin could have positive effects on the rate of ICU admission, need for mechanical ventilatory support, N/L ratio, and mortality in diabetic patients hospitalized for COVID-19 infection.
