عنوان انگلیسی The Mediating Role of Affective Commitment in Influencing the Performance of Infection Prevention and Control Committee Members through Work Competency and Compensation
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Aims. This research aimed to examine and analyze the impact of competence and compensation on employee performance, with affective commitment serving as a mediating variable.
Materials and Methods. This research falls under the category of explanatory research. The study focused on members of the Southeast Sulawesi HAIs committee, with a sample size of 212 respondents. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. The data analysis technique employed was Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS).
Fundings. The results of the data analysis revealed that employee competence, which encompasses knowledge, soft skills, hard skills, and attitudes, as well as compensation, exhibited a significant positive influence on both affective commitment and the performance of committee members. Additionally, affective commitment was found to have a significant positive impact on performance.
Conclusion. In conclusion, this research establishes that affective commitment functions as a mediator in the relationship between competence, compensation, and employee performance.
