عنوان انگلیسی The Beneficial Role of Silymarin Extract in Prevention of Intoxication of the reproductive system Induced by Nanoparticles of Cadmium in Rats
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The current research set out to establish whether or not silymarin may mitigate the negative effects of cadmium on male rat reproductive health, specifically with regards to sex hormones and antioxidants. Sixty adult rats were harvested, each weighing (190 10 gm) and having lived for 90 days. They were split up into six groups, with ten animals in each. The participants were separated into the groups specified in the experiment's protocol. The current study proved that reproductive efficiency in male rats is increased in both LH and thousand FSH hormones, as well as testosterone hormone, compared to the control group, demonstrating a positive effect of silymarin across all study groups and all hormones taken. The adverse effect, meantime, first showed up in the nano- cadmium (Cd)-dosed groups. The current study showed that silymarin had a beneficial effect on all groups and all of the administered hormones, with an increase in SOD and GSH and a decrease in MDA, whereas the opposite was true for the groups given nano-cadmium (Cd). where superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) levels are lower than in the control. The results of this research show that silymarin significantly reduces reproductive damage caused by cadmium in rats.
