The reliability of drip irrigation systems depends on the quality of water purification of the water sources used. The degree of its purification is a particularly important factor affecting the performance of all components of irrigation systems, including droppers. The purpose of the study was to assess the applicability of a hydrocyclone with adjustable parameters to improve the quality of water purification in drip irrigation systems. The research was carried out using the method of comparative tests of various configurations of sections of the inlet pipe of the hydrocyclone, considering changes in their angle of inclination along the vertical plane and changes in the depth of immersion of the drain pipe.
