عنوان انگلیسی Successful Anesthetic Management of Superior Vena Cava Syndrome in a Patient With a History of Hemodialysis: A Case Study
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Superior vena cava (SVC) syndrome is a set of clinical indications and symptoms that occur due to the partial or complete blockage of blood flow through this vein. This rare complication, which leads to vein occlusion, will be more complicated if there is a mediastinal mass. Although the incidence of SVC syndrome has decreased significantly in recent years, the anesthetic management of such patients remains challenging due to life-threatening side effects, such as airway obstruction and cardiovascular collapse. We report the successful management of a 56-year-old woman with a history of hemodialysis who was a candidate for cardiac pulmonary bypass and clot removal under local and general anesthesia.
