عنوان انگلیسی Measuring the organizational capacity for teamwork: The case of Public Sector of Iran
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Capacity and ability of the organization in teamwork is one of the prerequisites for the effective teamwork and development in team-based organizations. In this article, teamwork challenge in Iran is studied at the organization level via measuring and evaluating organizational capacity for teamwork. This study applies the analytic model of three ramifications (i.e. behavioral, structural and contextual dimensions) to measure organizational capacity for teamwork. This research by using a stratified random sampling method, benefit of a sample size of 73 public organizations/companies from three different sectors i.e. administrative, military and hospital organizations which are studied in the form of cross-sectional scrolling. We designed a questionnaire with 64 items whose reliability is evaluated via the Cronbach's alpha using pre and post-sampling techniques. Validity of questionnaire is also confirmed through the content validity and construct validity using Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The collected data are then analyzed using the statistical techniques such as one sample t-test and one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). In general, the findings of this study indicate that organizational capacity for teamwork in the studied sample of public organizations of the country is lower than the average. Also, the mean and standard deviation of three ramifications which are measured in a 5 Likert scale are as follows: behavioral dimension (2.64, 0.31), structural dimension (2.71, 0.25) and contextual dimension (2.82, 0.38).
