چکیده فارسی مقاله چکیده ادونیس، در کتاب الثابت و المتحول (­سنت و تجدد)­، بازشناسی، تبیین و تحلیل دیالکتیک سنت و تجدد را در فرهنگ اسلامی و در حوزه­های دینی­، سیاسی، فکری، و ادبی ­(­شعر) از ظهور اسلام تا عصر حاضر دنبال می­کند­. به باور وی­، تصلب سنت در عرصه­های دینی­، فکری و ادبی­، ­عرصه را برای تجدد و نوآوری در هر یک از این حوزه­ها تنگ و دشوار ­می­سازد­. چنان­که تنها رویکرد تاویلی به سنت یا اعراض از آن راهی به آرمانشهر تجدد و نوآوری خواهد گشود­. بی تردید­، بررسی عمیق و گسترده­ی وی از میراث مکتوب فرهنگ و تمدن اسلامی­، ­افق­های تازه­ای در حوزه­ی علوم انسانی به­طور عام و شعر و ادب به طور خاص می­گشاید­. ­نوشتار حاضر­، ملاحظلات تحلیلی­- انتقادی به این کتاب و مفاهیم مطروحه در آن خواهد داشت.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Abstract Adonis, the book (Tradition and Modernity), recognition, explanation and analysis of the dialectic of tradition and modernity Arabic - Islamic and in religious, political, intellectual, and literary (especially poetry) following the advent of Islam to the present. He, therefore, methodical, principles of tradition in Three Realms Caliphate and politics, tradition and jurisprudence and poetry literature, and then the principles of innovation through intellectual and literary the revolutionary movements explain and their representative introduced. In this paper, at the beginning to introduce of the work and the author, to the origin and position its among other works related. Then, in enumerating the major issues, focus, and philosophical foundations and methodology of this book, refer to the achievements of the theory has been proposed. Finally, consideration will be critical to the content and structure of the book.
