One of the fundamental issues in the field of interpretation of God's Word is how to discover the meaning of the text. For that, one group considers sticking to appearance, another group, interpretation of the text, and a group of combining the two as the solution. This article has tried to describe and analyze the method and by using the interpretative sources of two Sunni and Shiite exegetical spectrums, firstly to point out two major thoughts in the interpretation of the Qur'an, i.e. interpretationism and appearanceism, and the initiative of Allama Tabatabai, who adheres to the correct interpretation and cites He knows how to explain the appearance of words.  

  And after that, to examine the roots of commentators' turn to carry Quranic verses contrary to their appearance from the point of view of Al-Mizan's writer and expose them to the eyes of those interested in exegetical issues. By inference in Al-Mizan's interpretation, this article has reflected several cases of the roots and causes of this contrary to appearance, including syntactic interpretation, which from the perspective of the author of Al-Mizan, are all examples of interpretation.
