عنوان انگلیسی Information Seeking Behaviour of Carp Farmers in Sangar’s Area of Rasht Township, Guilan Province
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله These days knowledge and information play a vital role in promoting of productivity and sustainability. The main purpose of this descriptive– survey research was to analysis information seeking behavior of Carp Farmers in Sangar’s area of Rasht County. Information seeking behavior of farmers including definition process and gathering information of usage technology, evaluation, information saving, updating and further use of this information in necessity time, evaluated and checked. All of carp farmers (N=100) were statistical population of the study. 70 persons selected for sample statistical in this research. Content and face validity of research tool was obtained by a panel of experts. To measure the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach Alpha coefficients were calculated (alpha= 0.81- 0.79) for different part of questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS software in inferential and descriptive statistics. In analytical part, there is positive significant between seeking behavior to information resources and educational level. There is negative significant between assessment information and age, but there is positive significant between this variable and educational level. Also, there is negative significant between information saving behavior and age. The results of cluster analysis showed information assessment component (M=2.67) was in first ranked, information saving component was in Second ranked (M=2.49) and access to information component (M=2.15) was in third ranked. This means that respondents have better situation in information assessment.
