چکیده انگلیسی مقاله    Today, domicile is not only considered as the shelter but also is the security and capital resource among the inhabitants of a city. This problem which has an important role in cites formation caused many problems in view point of social indices. For example , the substructure area becomes smaller , room shortage in a residential building, per capita shortage of a person area in a house or residential building ( less than 8 meters) bad habitation , homeless and etc. healthful domicile has an important role in different dimensions on spiritual and mental ease of inhabitants. So, understanding healthful domicile index and try in preparing suitable place of residence is an important matter in healthful city discussion and civic permanent development. This research is a kind of practical and developmental research and its methodology is descriptive and analytical. How is the current situation of domicile in babol in comparison with all cities of the country and suitable situation of healthful city? In answering to this question and with the aim of achieving to practical regulation of healthful city in establishment of the place of residence, have been surveyed the quantitative and qualitative situations of domicile in studied city and other cities of the country during 1365 to 1385. Comparative results of babol with other cities shows the important role of these indices. The situation of this index in babol was better than other cities. And also, in comparison with suitable situations of a healthful city shows that although , in our country , civic domicile situations are more than other countries but in many dimensions, hasn’t nearly suitable situation in comparison with suitable situation of healthful city.
