عنوان انگلیسی The Socioeconomical Factors Related to the Degree of Tendency of Citizens toward Public Sports in Khalkal
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله This research was conducted to sociologically study socioeconomical Factors related to the degree of tendency of citizens toward public sports in Khalkhal. The research framework is a combination of theories of Horn's(2000) athletic socialization, Charles Colley's(1902) looking glass-self, action theory of Pierre Bourdieu(1990) and Feministic theory of Harris(1996), Chu, and Fleshin(2001). The research method was qualitative-survey, and data gathering instrument was researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical universe consisted of citizens over 15 years old (n= 379) who were selected through random, cluser, multi-stage sampling. Research finding, using Pearson's correlation test, t-test and variance analysis showed that there is a meaningful positive relationship among variables of family supporting of athletic activities of individuals, personal body perception, social capital, cultural capital and economical capital of citizens from one side and the degree of tendency toward public sports from the other side. The degree of tendency toward public sports is different according to their sex, job, age and degree education, while it is not different according to their marriage status. The results also showed that the score of their tendency toward public sports is 49.86 which regarding the maximum score of 81 it is rather low. The results of the exercise of public interest that citizens show Khalkhal water sports, local sports, adult sports, sports government employees, natural sports like mountaineering, exercise in the morning, family walk, respectively universal favorite sports are a priority for the citizens of Khalkhal
