عنوان انگلیسی A Quad-Element MIMO Antenna for Sub-6GHz Applications
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله A quad-port hexagonal-patch multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is designed for fifth-generation IOT applications in this article. The simulated -10 dB impedance bandwidth of 120 MHz (2.55-2.67 GHz) can cover 2.50 -2.60 GHz fifth-generation bands.  Here the designed MIMO antenna is a hexagonal patch antenna. A full ground copper layer has been utilized in the design to attain a better isolation, whereas the fabricated antenna’s isolation among the antenna elements is measured to be greater than -20 dB. Here Split ring resonator (SRR) is utilized in the design to eliminate the resonant bands after 6 GHz. In addition to that the Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) is less than 0.0005 for the dual element and quad element MIMO antennas. The MIMO antenna parameters like ECC and Diversity Gain (DG) are analyzed. The average gain for the single-element, dual-element and quad-element MIMO antenna is 3 dBi. The parameters like return loss, VSWR, isolation, gain and MIMO antenna parameters like ECC and DG makes the hexagonal-patch MIMO antenna suitable for IOT applications operating in sub-6GHz band.
