Examining the Design Parameters of Solvents of Carbon Dioxide Production Unit Using Diesel Combustion Method

This study examines the design parameters of the solvents of the carbon dioxide production unit using the diesel combustion method in Petro refineries. Greenhouse gases, of which carbon dioxide is one of them, cause short-wavelength solar rays to pass through the clouds (they contain greenhouse gases) and after hitting the earth's surface, they are reflected and their wavelength increases and they turn from ultraviolet to infrared. The solvent used in this study was named Arihan White is a mixture of paraffinic and aromatic hydrocarbons with a carbon number of C-12 C-7 with a distillation range of 200-142 °C. Our findings illustrate that carbon dioxide, with its chemical formula and (weak) acidic properties, has many uses today as a primary and intermediate material. The first step in gas production is diesel combustion. Because monoethanolamine (MEA) solvent is used to separate combustion gases. This solvent is an amine-alcohol with a chemical formula that is highly sensitive to oxygen due to the presence of an alcoholic base, and upon contact with free oxygen, its alcoholic agent will turn into aldehyde and acid, which will eventually lead to the solvent becoming rotten. It can cause many complications in the system, such as reducing the production coefficient, loss of solvent, corrosion phenomenon, foaming, etc. Two types of hydrocarbon cutting are required to prepare this solvent. About 55% by weight of non-aromatic hydrocarbon cuts with a boiling range of 148 to 200 °C and about 45% of the remaining aromatic cuts with a boiling range of 148 to 200 °C.
