عنوان انگلیسی Evaluation of the Impact of Flexible Wall Boundary Conditions on the Productivity of Compact Exchangers
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The investigation of enhanced heat transfer within a Compact Heat Exchanger (CHE) is the focal point of this study. The proposed approach involves the utilization of the Flexible Wall Boundary (FWB). In this research, we exhibit a two-step numerical simulation. The first step deals with a steady-state analysis followed by an examination of the unsteady dynamic mode of the CHE. The fluid flow is assumed to be incompressible and the fluid is considered to be single-phase, Newtonian, and homogeneous, with a constant viscosity. We solve the continuity and momentum equations numerically via the finite element method, specifically within the laminar fluid flow regime. The unsteady phase of the study spans one second, and by analyzing the temperature distribution versus time, it has been concluded that the emergence of a quasi-periodic regime after 0.5 seconds is accrued. The results indicated that the effect of relative amplitude on the Nusselt number is significant compared to the frequency and height of the channel, reexhibiting a remarkable 733% increase compared to the static mode. A closer look at the Productivity index reveals that the maximum magnitude is related to the model with A=1, H=1, and F=50.
