چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Because of possible increase in the incidence of Brucellosis in the city Ghom , serological and bacteriological studies were conducted to investigate the rate of infection in this city. A total of 819 blood samples from Human , “suspected” cases were investigated (serologically) 121 of these were positive for brucellosis ,(14/6%).Of 182 samples of milk collected from cattle 50 were positive (27/5%). Serological test performed on 122 samples from cattle, goats and sheep cases were positive for brucellosis, (40%). The above study no doubt indicates that there is a high rate of human and animal infection with brucellosis in the city Ghom.
